Fluent’s Video Interpreting Service was introduced over ten years ago and is principally in support of American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting services for the deaf and hard of hearing. This service is available on demand, 24/7/365. As an added convenience, ASL video interpreting is available 24/7/365 by appointment.

In addition, Fluent offers “Virtual On-Site Interpreting” services for those spoken languages available with our traditional On-Site Interpreting service. This service is ideal for those clients seeking interpreting sessions where an On-Site Interpreter is impractical to obtain or where the per-minute pricing of Telephone Interpreting makes it cost prohibitive.

NOTICE TO DEAF, HARD OF HEARING & SPEECH IMPAIRED CONSUMERS: Fluent’s Video Interpreting service is NOT a Video Relay Service (VRS) and is not to be used to make an emergency call to 911. In an emergency, dial 911 from a location-identifiable phone or by TTY device.
